Microform Research Sets

Following are descriptions of some of the major microfilm, microfiche, and microcard sets available in the Periodicals Room. Click on a collection title to view the full details about the set, including information on indexes or guides, arrangement, languages, dates covered, and more.

Many of these sets provide important primary source material for research in history, drama, literature, classics, political science, religion, anthropology, and other disciplines. Because individual titles in these sets are not always included in the library catalog, users may wish to consult the detailed descriptions for tips in their use and arrangement.

This database is founded on the printed guide produced by Cheryl Conway and Elizabeth Chadbourn McKee in 1986. Send any questions, comments, or corrections to Library Web Services.
