Biographical Note

The Arkansas Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs is the Arkansas Chapter of the Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, a non-profit organization dedicated to establishing women’s rights and supporting the needs of women in the workplace. The Arkansas Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs was founded in 1919, and, now known as the Arkansas Federation of Business and Professional Women (BPW), remains active today.

Scope and Content Note

The collection consists of a spiral-bound scrapbook containing 1936-1937 newspaper clippings regarding the Arkansas Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, as well as the 1937 Arkansas edition of the National Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs Conference newsletter.
