Biographical Note

William Houston Duncan was born December 23, 1861 in Springfield, Arkansas. He graduated Arkansas Industrial University now known as the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. He married Florence Ella Steinsiek in 1890, and they had 7 children. Duncan served as a lawyer in Conway, a judge in Falkner County, and mayor of Conway. William Duncan died May 2, 1943 in Conway, Arkansas.
