Correspondence pertaining to the gubernatorial campaign and election of JTR, including discussions of various campaign issues and support for and opposition to JTR in the counties. Also includes letters of congratulation. Arranged chronologically.

Records pertaining to names and addresses of potential JTR supporters in various counties, requested by JTR. Includes related correspondence. Arranged chronologically.

Newspaper clippings of editorial opinions, letters to the editor, speeches, and articles discussing JTR's qualifications and ambitions. Sources include Arkansas Gazette, Arkansas Democrat, Lonoke County News, Lonoke Democrat, Hot Springs Daily, and the Fort Smith Times Record. Arranged chronologically.

Correspondence between Norwood and JTR and others, regarding the 1912 gubernatorial campaign. Correspondence especially pertains to Norwood's support of JTR after dropping out of gubernatorial race. Arranged chronologically.


7. Records pertaining to gubernatorial administration, 1913. 1 folder.

Message of JTR, governor, to the 39th General Assembly, discussing budget, education, popular election of senators, and other pertinent matters; also a detailed budget estimate.
