Biographical Note
Julia E. Pound was the daughter of Judge Thomas W. Pound, county and circuit clerk of Yell County. She married Judge and Congressman Thomas Boles in Danville, Arkansas on August 15, 1866. According to contemporaries, she made friends wherever she went due to her genial, social disposition. Julia E. Pound died on March 21, 1872.
