Biographical Note
William F. Switzler was a journalist, publisher, and historian from Columbia, Missouri. He was born on March 16, 1819 in Columbia and passed away on May 24, 1906.

The William F. Switzler Typescripts were donated to Special Collections, University of Arkansas Libraries for copying by the Arkansas Historical Commission in November 1988.
