Scope and Content Note

Video and audio cassette tapes created by T. L. Bass in preparation for his 1991 film, The Buffalo River: A National Treasure. Audiocassette 1 contains an interview conducted by Bass with Bill and Orphera Villines, Mt. Sherman (Newton County) Arkansas, in 1989. Audiocassette 2 and the videotape contain an interview with Orphea Duty conducted on October 1, 1989.

Acquisition Information

The T. L. Bass Video and Audio Cassette Tapes were donated to the Special Collections Department by T. L. Bass of Fort Smith, Arkansas, on March 8, 1991.

Separated Materials

A final videocassette tape of Bass' film, The Buffalo River: A National Treasure, was separated from the manuscript collection and cataloged as part of the Arkansas Collection as F417.B85 B87 1991.
