Biographical Note

The Walnut Hill Home Demonstration Club of Lafayette County, sponsored by the Cooperative Extension Service of the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Arkansas, operated on the same premises as similar Home Demonstration Clubs nationwide, emphasizing primarily home management, food and nutrition, human relations, self-improvement through continuing education, leadership development, and community service. This is accomplished through regular club meetings and special projects organized throughout the community.
