Biographical Note
The National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs (BPW) is the world's oldest and largest organization of working women. Since its founding in 1919, the BPW has sought to improve the professional, personal, economic, and educational outlook for women. The Jonesboro Downtown Business and Professional Women's Club was chartered on April 20, 1970. The charter president was Jewell Jordan, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
