The records consist of two scrapbooks with yearbooks, programs, newspaper clippings, and photographs. They also contain the National Federation of Music Clubs' publications and letters, yearbooks of Monticello Melody Club (1936-1937), Monticello Music Club (1936-1937), and Pine Bluff Musical Coterie (1937-1938), and other papers.

Biographical Note
The Warren Musical Coterie, Warren, Arkansas, was organized in 1932 under direction of the Fine Arts Committee of the Woman's Club of Warren and became a member of the National Federation of Music Clubs in 1933. The club's primary mission and function was to increase the community's musical knowledge and appreciation through workshops, club programs, and study materials.

The Warren Musical Coterie Records were donated to the Special Collections Division by Norma Watkins of Warren, Arkansas, on November 30, 1992.
