Beverley Githens Dresbach (1903-1971) was a native of Wilmette, Illinois. Her books of poetry include Novitiate (privately published, 1938) and No Splendor Perishes (Dierkes Press, 1946). She was also a feature writer in a number of Arkansas newspapers, as well as Kansas City Star and the Christian Science Monitor.
