Scope and Content Note

The collection consists of a binder containing Charles Spencer Curb's report and appraisal, commissioned by Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe and First Lady Ginger Beebe, of a silver service that was created for the battleship U.S.S. Arkansas and is now held at the Arkansas Governor's Mansion. The report, The U.S.S. Arkansas and Its Silver Service in Historical Context, also includes a biographical sketch of Curb.
