This volume is apparently an accounts ledger for a general store that operated in the Three Creeks community of Union County, Arkansas. Records in the ledger span November 1853 through December 1854. Preserved are customer names, retail purchases and prices of goods, and wholesale purchases of merchandise from Philadelphia, New Orleans, and other areas with which to supply the store.
