Biographical Note

Martin Rutte is an international speaker and management consultant. As president of Livelihood, Inc. Rutte provides strategic vision, corporate spirit, and performance management to many organizations such as the World Bank, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Virgin Records, and many others. Additionally, he was the first Canadian to address Harvard Business School's Corporate Leadership and Ethics Forum. Martin Rutte also authored the New York Times bestseller, Chicken Soup for the Soul at Work in 1996. Furthermore, he co-founded the Centre for Spirituality and the Workplace at St. Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada in 2004 where he later served as Chairman of the Board. Rutte served as a substantial catalyst for the "Spirituality in the Workplace" movement.
