Biographical Note

The Honors Program of the College of Agriculture was established as a way to allow students of high academic standing the ability to take courses and complete projects and research that would provide them with experience extending past the usual undergraduate program. Students work closely with a faculty advisor throughout the course of their time in the honors program to allow greater educational opportunities.The program originally started in the 1980s and ran until 1993 when it was briefly discontinued. The program started up once again in 2000 with the first theses of the new program produced in 2003.

The University of Arkansas College of Agriculture Honors Theses were donated to Special Collections, University of Arkansas Libraries on January 2, 2014 through Curt Rom of the College of Agriculture.
