Biographical Note

Walter John Schuldt served as a faculty member at the University of Arkansas from 1964 until his retirement as Professor Emeritus in 1995. He was a part of the Department of Psychology having earned his Ph. D. in Clinical Psychology from Michigan State University in 1964. He contributed to the development of the department by serving as Director of the Psychological Clinic and his active role in research, clinical supervision, and teaching. In addition to his contributions to the university, he helped establish the Elizabeth Richardson Children’s Center and was a founding board member of Ozark Guidance Center, both in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Scope and Content Note

The collection consists of correspondence, records, articles, photographs, and other papers pertaining to the life of Walter John Schuldt. They particularly pertain to his education, military career, and career in higher education.
