The collection consists of a photocopy of a partial typescript of Teresa Irwin Luneau's unpublished biography of Arkansas children's writer Charlie May Simon. Included are a title page, outline, and chapters one ("Her Life") and four ("Her Autobiographies").

Biographical Note

Teresa Irwin Murray attended graduate school at the University of Arkansas, where she studied children's writer Charlie May Simon as part of her dissertation research; she also served as a graduate assistant in the English Department. In 1980, she was awarded a grant from the Arkansas Endowment for the Humanities for her work on a biography of Simon. In 1981, she married Harold Dean Luneau; the couple has one son, Patrick Dean Luneau.
