Biographical Note

While the collection materials only reference Mrs. Eugene Sheer by her married name, it is possible that the creator is Katherine Sheer of Lincoln, Illinois. Katherine Sheer was born January 27, 1868, to Anna Rose and Jonathan Combs. She married Eugene Sheer. Katherine Sheer passed away February 22, 1937.
