Index ledger containing entries of personal and business names, with associated reference numbers. A handwritten inscription on the interior cover notes "Index beginning Sept 19 - 1941 with #1168A," but does not indicate the type of records the index pertains to. Ledger has been identified as pertaining to Washington County based on its inclusion of names of persons and businesses known to have lived or been based there during the relevant time period, including T. Ewing Shelton, Betty Lighton, Ozark Grocery Co., Whitfield Motor Co., F. E. Zendt, Harold Wantuck, Haskell Saladin, and Robert Leflar.
