Biographical Note

Flavius Paine (F. P.) Rose (1880-1966) was the author of several articles on Arkansas history in the Arkansas Historical Quarterly. Rose was a longtime resident of Rogers, Arkansas.

Arrangement of the Papers

Materials were originally stored in a binder titled "Salt - Gunpowder - Lead Smelting, Mining and Prospecting"; during processing, pages were removed from the binder and foldered for preservation reasons, while maintaining the original order.
