Scope and Content Note
The papers consist of original and photocopied letters, clippings, and documents pertaining to Dolan's military career in World War I and principally to Democratic party political affairs and Dolan's role as a member of the Cook County, Illinois, Central Committee. Correspondents include Fred Allen, Edmund Gerald "Pat" Brown, John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and James A. Farley. Most originals are preserved at Georgetown University.
