Biographical Note

Tom A. Hill served as an Arkansas state representative from Jefferson County from at least 1920-1926, including serving as Speaker of the House later in his career. In 1928, he unsuccessfully ran for Lieutenant Governor, and was defeated by Lee Cazort in the Democratic primary; in 1930, he ran again, losing to Lawrence E. Wilson.
