Thaddeus H. Caraway (1871-1931) was an Arkansas politician who served as a U. S. Representative from 1913-1921 and as a U. S. Senator from 1921-1931. His widow, Hattie Caraway, filled his seat upon his death, and was then re-elected in her own right.

Two typed letters, on U. S. House of Representatives, Committee on the Judiciary, letterhead, from Thaddeus H. Caraway to Judge J. N. Rachels, Searcy, asking support for Caraway's candidacy for U. S. Senate; typed carbon copy of letter [from Rachels] to Caraway.
