Biographical Note

The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens is an educational institution in San Marino, California. It was created by Henry Edwards Huntington and his wife Arabella Duval Huntington in 1919, when the couple changed their private estate and collection to a public institution.

The Huntington Library Copies were donated to Special Collections, University of Arkansas Libraries in 1973 by Michael B. Dougan of the Arkansas State History Department.
