Biographical Note

Mary Cordelia Berry Preston (1914-1997) was the daughter of Elliott Rosson Berry and Ruth Anne Dickinson Berry of Bentonville, Arkansas. She was the granddaughter of James Henderson Berry (1841-1913). She graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1936, and married William Preston in 1941; the couple had two daughters, Ann and Polly.
