Scope and Content Note

The papers consist of Clara Toll Parks Griffith's account of the history of St. Stephen's Episcopal Mission and the Helen Dunlap School for Girls (ca. 1870-1961), some letters pertaining to the mission and school, and photocopies of two scrapbooks pertaining to Winslow, Fayetteville, and Tollville, Arkansas. In addition, two bound volumes of piano music complete the collection.

Biographical Note

Clara Toll of Little Rock, Arkansas, married Lloyd C. Parks of Winslow, Arkansas, on September 3, 1929 at Trinity cathedral in Little Rock, Arkansas. After their marriage, Clara Toll Parks and Lloyd C. Parks moved to Winslow, Arkansas, near St. Stephen's Episcopal Mission. After Lloyd C. Parks died, Clara Toll Parks married Elmer Griffith in 1970.
