Biographical Note

Constance Wagner was an author of five published novels among other literary works. She was born on February 12, 1903, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and lived in Arkansas intermittently starting in 1942. Wagner passed away at her home in San Leandro, California on June 21, 1984.

The Constance Wagner Tapes were donated to Special Collections, University of Arkansas Libraries in 1988 by Ellen Shipley of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
