Biographical Note
Faultless Starch Company (now Faultless Brands) was founded in 1887 when Thomas G. Beaham invested in a coffee, tea, and spice company in Kansas City, Missouri. Their most popular product was a dry white starch which was used in laundry which became popular partially due to its relative simplicity of use and also the inclusion of "Faultless Starch Books" in the packaging. These books were short primers aimed at children which included content from jokes to classic children's literature.
