Photoduplicate of typewritten transcript of (possibly partial) contents of Welch's "Journal of the Northern Pacific Railway surveying expedition from the Missouri River to the Powder River - two parties - A. William E. Welch was a surveyor and employee of the Northern Pacific Railway who traveled through Arkansas on the journey to survey the Missouri River to the Powder River.
