The collection consists of promotional materials for Cornerstone Bank (later known as CS Bank). Annual calendars feature historic photographs of Arkansas and Missouri, primarily in and Eureka Springs, as well as dates of events and festivals in the area; a postcard features a photograph of the interior of Cornerstone Bank.

Biographical Note

Cornerstone Bank was a Eureka Springs, Arkansas-based bank. It was founded as the Bank of Eureka Springs in 1912. Arkansas Congressman Claude A. Fuller served as president of the bank from 1930-1968. In 2008, it was renamed Cornerstone Bank. As of 2020, the bank had branches in Eureka Springs, Holiday Island, Berryville, Huntsville, and Harrison, Arkansas; John Fuller Cross served as its chairman.

In 2021, the bank's name changed to CS Bank as it expanded into Missouri.

Acquisition Information

The Cornerstone Bank Promotional Materials were donated to the Special Collections Department by John Fuller Cross, chairman of Cornerstone Bank, in December 2019 and January 2020. The 2021 calendar was donated by Cross in February 2021; the 2022 calendar was donated by Cross in December 2021.

Accruals

Annual additions of new calendars are anticipated.
