Electronic Resources, Acquisitions, and Licensing (CERAL)

The CERAL team manages and enhances the full lifecycle of continuing electronic resources, working to ensure seamless access to both subscription-based and open access content. We also oversee complex acquisitions, including licensing.

The CERAL team aligns our efforts with the University of Arkansas Libraries values and the strategic vision of the university.

Our work includes:

Processes that we manage:

• Electronic resources purchased as continuations
• One-time electronic collections/database purchases, including those with ongoing fees
• Non-EBA/DDA Ebook Packages
• Open Access electronic content for all resource types
• Standing orders of all types managed through Harrassowitz
• Memberships and Software Purchases
• License Negotiation and Agreement Review for all electronic resource content
• Support and quality assurance of electronic resources
