Find Manuscripts

Collection-Level Records

For archival materials, a collection-level record will describe the entire group of papers, without providing detailed contents notes on specific documents within the collection.

You can find collection-level records for manuscript collections in QuickSearch. "Manuscript" and "Archival Material" are Content Type limits in QuickSearch.

You can search the Library Catalog under author, title, subject, or keyword for collection-level records of archival materials held here at the U of A in our Special Collections Department. Limit your search results to "Collection" or "Manuscript."
