Sometime in 1923 or '24, my art teacher, Miss Elizabeth Galbraith, taught a special art class for several of us. Her teaching was based on the work of an artist in New York, where she did some summer work. The artist, J. Hambidge has developed what he called the Theory of Dynamic Symmetry. It was built on squares and rectangles, with horizontal, vertical, and diagonal lines.
