Visit Special Collections
Beginning August 17, Special Collections will open by appointment only to University of Arkansas faculty, staff, and students. Limited appointments are available and must be confirmed by staff.
Digital collections and remote research assistance will remain available for all researchers. Read more about temporary policies in place due to COVID-19.
Special Collections supports the research, teaching, and learning mission of the University of Arkansas by collecting, preserving, and providing access to unique and rare materials.
Special Collections is open to the public. We welcome all interested researchers to visit and use the collections. Learn more about doing research in Special Collections.
Note: Many collections are stored offsite and require advance notice to access. To ensure materials are available for your use, please contact Special Collections two weeks in advance on your visit.
Location and Directions
Special Collections is located on the basement floor (Level 1) of Mullins Library. View a campus map.
Driving directions to the campus as well as parking information for visitors can be found on our visitors page. The closest public parking are metered spots near the Administration Building or in the Stadium Drive (Arkansas Union) Parking Garage (view a parking map for campus).
