Dean's Five-Year Review

In accordance with Academic Policy 1407.20, the Dean of each academic unit is reviewed every five years. Dean Jason Battles’ five-year review will be held this spring.

To start the review process, the Provost established a review committee that has been charged with evaluating and providing feedback on the following areas:

• Dean Battles’s most significant administrative and programmatic accomplishments.
• Challenges encountered by Dean Battles and areas requiring increased attention or improvement.
• Recommendations for strengthening the performance, effectiveness and administration of the University Libraries.

Dean Review Process

This comprehensive review process will be conducted under the guidelines outlined in Academic Policy 1407.20. As part of this process, the review committee will be collecting feedback from faculty, staff, alumni, students, advisory board members, university administrators, and other relevant stakeholders. Dean Battles’ Five-Year Review Self-Assessment Report and CV are available for review. Please note that individuals may need to enter their University of Arkansas email address and credentials to access these materials.
