Synthesis of Quinolines by Visible-Light Induced Radical Reaction of Vinyl Azides and -Carbonyl Benzyl Bromides

A visible-light induced radical reaction of vinyl azides and -carbonyl benzyl bromides was developed, which provides an efficient route to polysubstituted quinolines via a CC and CN bond formation sequence.
