Crystal and Molecular-Structure of [Cpru(Pph3)2(T-C4h9sh)]Bf4

The structure of the [CpRu(PPh3)2(t-C4H9SH)]BF4 complex was determined by X-ray diffraction techniques: monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, a = 14.662(9), b = 18.515(7), c = 15.368(6)angstrom, beta = 101.88(5)-degrees, V = 4082(6)angstrom3, Z = 4, R = 0.049, R(w) = 0.057. The Ru is attached to two tfiphenylphosphine ligands, a cyclopentadienyl and the t-butylmercaptan. The Ru-S distance is 2.396(2)angstrom and the S-H distance is 1.289(2)angstrom.
