Information about Course Reserves
Now Accepting Fall 2021 Course Reserves Requests
The University Libraries are currently accepting course reserves requests for the Fall 2021 semester. We are happy to report that print reserves are available again.
We are now using LibGuides Reserves to host all our locally digitized material. LibGuides Reserves allows us to designate a date upon which the material will no longer be available, which helps us keep within copyright law.
Unfortunately, we no longer post material directly into Blackboard; however, we are now providing you with a direct link to all your course reserve material instead.
The University of Arkansas Libraries provide Course Reserves service in support of the teaching and research activities of the university.
Course Reserves are high-use items that an instructor has selected and requested that the library set aside for a particular group of users. Course reserve materials may include: books, journal articles, and audio and video materials.
Streaming Media
The Libraries subscribe to a number of streaming media services. We are also happy to work with you to license films for your course.
Note that often streaming films are licensed for a limited time period; they must be repurchased every semester.
